Pastor Chester Bellinger

Pastor Chester Bellinger is the Senior Pastor and Founder of the Bethesda Community Church. He has been married to Lady Brenda for over 40 years.  While serving as a Minister at First Baptist Church of Glenarden under his spiritual father, Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr., God gave him the vision to start a church. He began the process to plant a church in Washington DC. Pastor Chester and Lady Brenda held Bible Study for several years in their home for married couples. In 2015, Pastor Bellinger started a weekly Bible Study at the YMCA. On August 7, 2016, Bethesda Community Church held its first Sunday Service. 

Pastor Bellinger has a passion to serve, share the gospel, reach the lost, and help believers mature in Christ. His favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 11:1, “Imitate me just as I also imitate Christ.”
